Description

We're looking for a Copywriter or Senior Copywriter with at least 3 years of pharma/wellness agency experience to join our team.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to write for a range of health and wellness brands from over-the-counter to pharmaceutical products. You will partner with Art Directors and other team members to develop campaign concepts, guide and direct other creatives and present creative pieces to clients. There will also be opportunities to participate in Med/Legal reviews and market research.

  • Proficient at creating content outlines, long format, script, and digital writing
  • Has a strong understanding of creative strategy; is beginning to influence strategy
  • Has a clear understanding of creative briefs and actively problem-solves
  • Possesses a strong sense of voice and writing style; is able to adapt according to client needs
  • Is familiar with design aspects; developing comfort level expressing and giving design direction feedback
  • Is able to manage and prioritize multiple projects and allocate time independently
  • Can effectively present work to clients on behalf of the agency
  • Can do excellent research on client products, services, and the industry to inform the content
  • Is very proficient at copy editing and proofreading
  • Uses AMA guidelines and ensures content is accurate and referenced appropriately
  • Can maintain source and reference files
  • Ensuring all pieces conform to the client’s specific style guidelines


Not required, but a plus:
• Experience in medical editing within a pharmaceutical agency or Client setting

• Familiarity with FDA regulations regarding promotional copy of prescription drugs


Requirements

  • At least 3 years experience working in a pharma /health agency in a creative copy position REQUIRED
  • Experience within the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare environment REQUIRED
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Exceptional portfolio, containing original concepts that are fully executed
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated creative copy skills
  • Proven ability to understand and develop creative “storytelling” copy for the healthcare professional audience
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment as well as independently
  • Strong attention to detail
